In this virtual talk, Dr Lim Choon Pin explained the different types of mechanical circulatory support devices (MCS), ventricular assist devices (LVAD or artificial heart pumps) used in the treatment of severe heart failure (cardiogenic shock). He shared the stage with prominent cardiologists from the Philippines: session chairs Dr Maria Trani and Dr Walid Amil and fellow speakers Dr Rochelle Cruz and Dr Charmaine Palofax.
